Application Batches

We’re splitting the run to the VFS centre into three batches so we can support everyone properly. Pick the dates that work best for you — you’ll confirm your choice on the RSVP form.

Batch 1
29 & 30 June
First run · Mon & Tue

Earliest slot — best if your passport, photos and supporting docs are already in hand.

Batch 2
13 & 14 July
Middle run · Mon & Tue

A couple of weeks of buffer — gives you time to gather documents after registering.

Final batch
27 July
Last run · Monday

Latest we can take in. After this we can’t guarantee your visa will be processed in time.

Not sure which batch suits you yet? Pick “Not sure yet” on the form — you can update it later from your edit link.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

Are you applying for visas on our behalf?

No. Each traveller applies for their own visa at the SA visa centre. What we do is prepare your invitation letter, share a checklist, and brief you before you go — so you walk in ready. Please wait to hear from us before submitting your application.

How will you get back to me?

We’ll reach out on the phone number and email you enter in the form above. That’s how we’ll send your invitation letter and any updates, so please double-check both before submitting.

How much does the SA tourist visa cost?

Total is roughly UGX 500,000 per person: a USD 36 visa fee paid to the South African embassy, plus a UGX 342,000 service fee paid to VFS Global at the application centre.

Where do I apply?

Online and in-person through VFS Global, the official application partner: visa.vfsglobal.com/uga/en/zaf/apply-visa. You complete the online form, book a biometrics appointment, and bring your documents on the day.

Do I need to pay for flights before applying?

No. A reservation (held ticket) is enough for the visa application. Only pay after your visa is approved.

How long does processing take?

Usually 4 – 8 weeks. We strongly recommend submitting by end of June 2026 to be safe.

What if my visa is rejected?

It happens occasionally. We’ll help you review the reasons and re-apply if there’s time. Registering early gives us the most room to help.

Can I travel before/after the wedding dates?

Absolutely. Wedding activities run 9 – 13 September 2026, but you’re welcome to arrive earlier or stay longer. Put your preferred dates on the RSVP form and we’ll reflect them in your personal invitation letter.

Will you help me at the visa centre?

We can’t go in with you, but once we know who’s applying we’ll set up a WhatsApp support group where we walk through each step together. No one applies alone.
